I was at an of one of my marketing idols Mal Emery’s seminars and a question was raised; about positioning a business for success? and Mal replied “you should aim to be a celebrity that no one knows”

At first, I was confused as it seems to be a contradictory statement, after all, how can you be a celebrity if no one knows about you?
But after he explained what he meant in more detail it not only made sense but also illustrated this guy’s genius in the marketing space.

Before I go any further I will tell you a little more about Mal Emery and why he is the best person to talk about, positioning a business for success!
Mal Emery is none other than Australia’s very own ‘Millionaire Maker’. A nickname that was coined in response to a number of clients he had literally turned into millionaires.

This is to position yourself at the authority within your field of expertise.

Now you may be thinking…” well that is great but what if I am not the best in my field?”
Well lucky for you it does not matter if you are the best or not…It matters that your customers and prospect perceive you to be.

You can you do it through social media presence, authority blogs, video marketing YouTube channels or email marketing the options really are limitless.

Get creative with it and don’t be afraid to put your hand up and declare you’re an expert in your niche!
